GARTH BROOKS HAS announced that he will hold a major press conference this Thursday.
The conference, at 5pm Irish time, will be streamed worldwide via his website.
It is widely expected to include an announcement of new shows, or a new album. It’s not known whether he will discuss a resolution to the difficulties over his Irish dates.
No further details of the conference have been revealed as yet. However, his website features an ominous storm animation with thunder sounds.
There has been considerable speculation that the Irish concerts could form the opening of a world tour from Brooks, who said last year that he was “ready to get back on the road”.
Earlier today, representatives of the hospitality industry in Ireland held their own press conference urging authorities to allow all five Croke Park concerts to go ahead.
