VIDEO: Teenage guitarist has no arms – so he plays with his feet

And he’s still better than us.

GEORGE DENNEHY WAS born without arms. Which might seem like an obstacle to a life playing the guitar – a traditionally arm-based instrument – in public.

But not to George. He just learned to play it with his feet, as this video of him playing the Goo Goo Dolls’ ballad Iris amply demonstrates.

Answering questions on Reddit, the 18-year-old from Virginia said that he also eats, types and washes his hair with his feet, and has learned to move all his toes independently. He wrote:

Growing up I got made fun of a lot, I never “fit in”, but I overcame it. Sometimes I do have arms in my dreams, but I don’t ever want them. This is who I am!

We doff our hats.
