This rugby player played on despite a broken nose and captured the internet's heart
A RUGBY PLAYER is going viral for playing on – and making two tackles - with an extremely broken nose.
Australian Georgia Page plays rugby for Lindenwood University in Missouri. During a match on Thursday, she broke her nose in a tackle gone wrong:

She told Buzzfeed:
EEK. Despite this, and having blood pouring down her face, Page got up and played on.

This rather gnarly Vine of Page nonchalantly spitting blood out of her mouth immediately began to go viral, as she was dubbed the ‘Rugby War Goddess’.

The internet is just a little bit in awe of her:
Whoops!

Page says she’s glad of the coverage she’s received, as it focuses attention on women’s rugby. She said it upsets her to see how little coverage the sport receives – for example, US channel NBC Sports played their game in the background of another segment.
Er, did this tourist just stop a thief in Dublin with a tin of Aldi beans?>
Oh just a swan in Galway, acting like it owns the place>
