Germans are Googling 'how to banish dark circles under eyes' as they stay up late to watch World Cup

Cucumbers, lads.

SINCE THE WORLD Cup started, Google have been busy monitoring spikes in certain World Cup-related search terms. (For example: most-searched for World Cup WAG? Shakira, of course.)

Last night, it revealed that searches for “How to banish dark circles under eyes” have increased 5x as Germans stay up late to cheer on the lads.

Germany played Algeria on Tuesday night to progress to the quarter finals. The match started at 10pm German time and ended at 12.30am.

Fortunately for our German friends, this evening’s quarter final clash against France kicks off at 6pm German time, so plenty of time for shut-eye.

In the meantime: cucumbers and cold teabags on the eyes, guys.
