This Offaly lad saved a woman from getting clamped and left her a sound note

The hero we all need.

YESTERDAY EVENING, AS Offaly man Paraic Sullivan went to get into his car near the Phoenix Park in Dublin, he saw another car about to be clamped.

Disaster.

But Paraic wasn’t going to let a stranger’s day be ruined. So he stepped in and quickly got them a ticket.

And left them this note

It reads:

Hi there
I was parked behind you and you were just about to get clamped. I stopped them and bought you a ticket so they wouldn’t clamp you. Maybe someday you might do the same. Or you can buy me a pint :)

Excellent.

And last night he got a text back from the mystery person – her name was Mairead and she was only delighted

Was there a potential date straight out of a rom com on the cards, then? Unfortunately not. Paraic tells DailyEdge.ie that Mairead is happily married with kids.

Still, a fine gesture for a stranger in desperate clamping need.
