Here's what to buy for all the people you're dreading shopping for this Christmas

The office Kris Kindle is on the horizon.

UNLESS YOU’RE ONE of those people who positively revels in crowded cosmetic halls and stuffy shopping centres, then it’s probable you hate Christmas shopping on some level.

Oh sure, you might nail down the vast majority of your presents with little to no stress, but then you’re forced to shop for people you either barely know, or know well enough to know that they won’t like whatever you choose.

We mean, let’s take the office Kris Kindle where you’ll be required to buy a gift for a person who has compelled you to climb three flights of stairs in order to avoid an awkward lift conversation.

Then you’ll have the Kris Kindle for the extended family, where you’re stuck choosing a present for your brother-in-law’s wife who, ironically, you only see at Christmas and know next to nothing about anyway.

Oh, and then you have to get a gift for the mate who hates Christmas, and everything it stands for.

With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of gifts that will do the trick nicely in these instances!

The Office Kris Kindle

Keep it stress-free by playing it safe and simple.

With all due respect to anyone who genuinely does put a lot of effort into their office Kris Krindle, it’s really not expected, especially not when you’re working off a meagre budget.

Now don’t get us wrong, we’re not suggesting you take the piss, but we are reminding you that when it comes to meltdowns, this one isn’t worthy of your muffled shrieks of frustration.

The distant family member

You need to err on the side of caution when it comes to this person. Let’s be honest, while they’re essentially family (or a family member of one of your family members), you barely know them, so this is not the time to go rogue.

Think very simple, think very chic and think about how good you’ll look when you get this right.

The problematic mate

Look, when it comes to the friend who spends most of their time wishing Christmas away, why not ensure they’re cosy and/or drunk while doing it?

Think kitchenware (for warm, soothing beverages), alcohol (for obvious reasons) and cosy items (because comfort) when you eventually hit the shops for this soldier.
