BRENDA SCHMITZ HAD a husband and four children when she died as a result of ovarian cancer four years ago.
She wanted to ensure that the family she left behind knew she was with them, and also to be certain that her husband knew she was happy for him to move on and find a new partner.
So, she left a message and some gifts for her family to be given ‘when the time was right’. The gifts were given as part of a local radio stations ‘Christmas Wish’ programme, and the results are moving to say the least.
