THE GOLDEN GLOBES are taking place in LA tonight, and the toast of Hollywood are walking the red carpet in black.
Many actors and actresses are wearing black in solidarity with the many, many people who have come forward with stories of abuse surrounding the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
One such actress, was Will and Grace star Debra Messing. Debra was being interviewed by E!’s Giuliana Rancic when she was asked about the movement.
Debra explained why she was kitted out in black, but went on to call out the very network she was speaking to.
Time is up. We want diversity, we want equal pay.
I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn’t believe in paying their female cohosts the same as their male cohosts. I mean I miss Catt Sadler, so we stand with her. That’s something we can change tomorrow. We want people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men.
She didn’t hold back

It comes after E! News host Catt Sadler quit after she discovered that her male co-host Jason Kennedy made close to double her salary for doing the same job.
Celebrities such as Amy Schumer and Brie Larson called on Globe attendees to bring up the departure with the network, who are renowned for their coverage on red carpets.
Debra got you
We’ll no doubt see many more great red carpet moments, with Michelle Williams, Amy Poehler, Emma Watson and Emma Stone among actresses who are bringing activists along as their guests.
UPDATE: Eva Longoria just went there too.
