AN RTÉ RADIO show which was at the centre of controversy last night has been made available to listen to in advance of its broadcast on Radio One tonight.
A tweet send out from The God Slot’s Twitter account yesterday evening read:
The tweet caused immediate backlash on Twitter and saw whoever was manning the account appeal to people to listen in to the show in order to understand the context of the tweet.
An RTÉ spokesperson also told TheJournal.ie that the tweet was intended to promote the show, which features a report by an undercover journalist who met with and exposed a ‘conversion therapy’ group which claims homosexuality could be cured.
The show is now available on the Radio One website in advance of tonight’s 10pm broadcast.
