Vanity Fair have taken it very well in fairness.

CAST YOUR MINDS back to January of this year. Vanity Fair have just released their yearly ‘Hollywood Issue’ and have accidentally given Reese Witherspoon 3 legs.

A simpler time.

Well GQ have given Vanity Fair a gentle little slagging with the release of their comedy issue this month.

Sarah Silverman, Kate McKinnon and Issa Rae grace the cover along with a few extra limbs in support.

It’s a genius, light hearted joke but also can we appreciate the skills of the photoshopped Kate McKinnon who is dislocating her knee with the grace and elegance of pure royalty.

GQ also issued an ‘apology’ which was very complimentary of the three women.

Our intention was to celebrate the three super-funny superstars, who are all that is smart and perceptive and riotous and necessary in comedy right now. We deeply regret that the results violated GQ‘s rigorous standards of editorial excellence and the laws of nature.

People are very appreciative of it too.

Vanity Fair have seen the funny side too though which is nice. It’s always good when you can laugh at yourselves.

Take a bow GQ, take a bow.
