Grainne Seoige is leaving TV after almost 20 years to become a diamond dealer. And Irish telly has just become a little less glamorous :(
Speaking to the Irish Independent, Seoige said she’s grand with leaving behind the bright lights of TV:
I think ‘for everything a season’. I’ve had a ball with what I’ve been a part of. One door has to close for another one to open and that’s how these things are.
The Galwegian launched her new business, Grace Diamonds, in New York yesterday – it’s an appointment-only service for customers who to design their own diamond rings.
Coldplay’s Croke Park date sold out in just a half an hour this morning. Whew!
The band is playing the stadium on July 8 next year, their first Irish gig in six years. Understandably, there was great excitement:
