IT WAS THE Quarter Final stage of the Great British Bake last night and things went beyond parody in the innuendo stakes.

It was Pattisserie Week – and one of the main challenges was the successful completion of the cream horn. Yes.

They would never give up, the innuendo squad is stronger than that.

There were five contestants left on GBBO going into the cream horn debacle, and only four would survive. Here were some of the now infamous cream horns baking:

Needless to say, the cream horns were attracting attention from the viewers

The process lived up to the name, especially Paul’s filling technique

And Mary Berry was on form

GBBO heartthrob Tamal was the centre of much punning

And fantasies

It seemed to never end

And when Ian dropped his cream horn on the floor, the whole world cried out

Paul would eventually be shown the door. His cream horn just not being up to standard.

Tamal, Flora, Nadyia and Ian march on to the semis next week.
