Bubba Atkinson, Charlie’s owner, has made somewhat of a superstar out of her this week after he shared footage of the dog’s reaction to a b*llocking she received at the hands of her owner.

In a tweet which has amassed more than 80,000 likes in less than 24 hours, Charlie can be seen practically falling over herself in contrition after it was discovered she broke a cardinal sin in the Atkinson house.
And sure, naturally no one can cope with the head on her.
This video actually makes me so emotional.
Who left trash in an accessible can when there are ridiculously expensive dog-proof cans available? CHARLIE IS NOT GUILTY! Charlie deserves hundreds of puppy kisses on her sweet face.
Smart of her to stay quiet. Somebody get her lawyer on the phone.
Thankfully, everyone’s support has done much to buoy Charlie after that woeful episode with Bubba, and is, according to her owner, pretty much back to herself now.
Charlie is enjoying her viral fame and is celebrating with this stick at the park but ensures me that her goal is to never change.

EVERYBODY, MEET CHARLIE.
Charlie is the type of dog who knows right well she shouldn’t get in the trash; she’s also the type of dog that’s going to do it anyway.
But, make no mistake, she’s going to feel ridiculously guilty over it the minute she’s snared.
