You will soon be able to buy 'Guinness sauce'

It actually contains stout – and you will be able to get it in Ireland.

FOR ALL THOSE Guinness drinkers in need of a new sauce to rival ketchup and HP – your prayers have been answered.

Guinness is launching a new black table sauce – which will go on sale in Supervalu, Dunnes and Spar stores across Ireland from mid-May. Look at it there:

The sauce will contain seven percent real Guinness in its recipe, for those needing an extra kick of stout with their meals. It will retail at €1.99 per bottle.

According to Guinness, the sauce is designed to go especially well with meats, and is the work of “world-class sauce specialists” over the last two years.

This could be a whole new world in Irish dinners. We’re ready.
