Milkshakes, a carvery, and soft clothes. Tell us, what's your ultimate hangover cure?

Everyone is different.

NOBODY LIKES A hangover, but everyone gets them. They can be that sick hangover where you can’t even hold down a glass of water, or they can be an achy fear hangover.

Then there are nice hangovers, that can be cured with a McDonald’s and a night in front of the TV.

You can’t cure it, but your body is at least letting you try.

Recently, a Twitter thread highlighted the many, many ways people treat themselves the morning after.

A few examples include the weird to the genius.

ALRIGHT, psychopath.

But what about you? I asked around my immediate friend group and I got some questionable choices back.

A burrito and a thick, cold drink. Preferably a milkshake.
When I wake up I have a dioralyte mixed with a solpadeine, then I go to town on a smoothie. Cured and ready for round two.
A hot shower, then a cold compress on my forehead and loads of water. Good as new in hours.
Milk and a carvery from the pub, followed by a pint and a walk. Yes I’m a culchie.
Soft clothes. It’s weird but I can’t deal with a hangover in jeans or anything, if I wear soft tracksuit bottoms and a wooly top I’m fine.
More beer. Honestly it’s the only thing that works for me so I avoid getting hangovers.

Let us know. What’s your go-to hangover cure?
