Harry Styles just released his first solo single and... it's... kind of good?
HAPPY FRIDAY!
HARRY Styles, formerly of One Direction, has blessed us with his eagerly anticipated debut solo single, Sign of the Times. Styles is the fourth member of One Direction to go solo, following in the footsteps of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.
So what’s Sign of the Times like? It’s a five-minute ballad produced by Grammy-winning producer Jeff Bhasker (All of the Lights, Uptown Funk, We Are Young).
The Sun likened it to David Bowie, which is a tad excessive, but it is surprisingly good! Think of a good Adele/Lana Del Rey ballad and you’re in the right ballpark.
Needless to say, Directioners are barely able to form coherent thoughts right now.
Whoops!

Even non-Directioners are embracing it.
Just let the pop goodness wash over you.
According to Pop Justice, the video for Sign of the Times will be released later this month. Styles is also set to perform the single on next week’s Saturday Night Live and will appear on The Graham Norton Show later in the month.
Now stop comparing it to David Bowie, please.
Now if you excuse us, we’ll be practicing our key changes for the rest of the day…
