Couple call 911 because they didn't get hash browns at McDonalds
A MARRIED COUPLE who called 911 because their McDonalds order was missing its hash browns are facing charges in Arizona.
Michael and Nova Smith told ABC 15 News they had no choice but to call emergency services, as staff were not helping with their missing breakfast item.
Nova also admitted throwing her food at staff when they declined to give her hash browns. She said:
Michael Smith told Fox Phoenix the manager “was completely wrong in what he was doing”, adding:
On an audio recording of the 911 call, the operator can be heard asking: “So was your food order incorrect? Your order was wrong?” The caller responds “The customer’s always not right evidently in this store.”
A staff member and another customer also called 911 during the incident.
The couple are being charged with assault and disorderly conduct. You can listen to the 911 calls at ABC 15 News here.
