LOOK, WE ALL know the workplace can be an absolute head-melt at times.
And this is why so many of us place so much importance on having workmates to get us through the monotony of a tedious job or the stress of a high-powered one, but not everyone is lucky in that regard.
In fact, Tim Canterbury of The Office put it best when he reminded us of the dynamic at play in so many workplaces.
The people you work with are people you were just throw together with. You know, you don’t know them, it wasn’t your choice, and yet you spend more time with them then you do your friends or your family. But probably all you’ve got in common is the fact that you walk around on the same bit of carpet for 8 hours a day.
In other words, for every one Dawn Tinsley you encounter over the course of your career, there’s at least five Gareth Keenans ready and waiting in the wings to test your patience.
And yet even the best work-wives or work-husbands in the world can only do so much when you realise you’re officially done with your job and would find any excuse not to turn up anymore.
Here are just 10 people who know this feeling all too well.
1. We mean, it literally doesn’t get any more desperate than that.
2. We’ll let them figure that one out for themselves.
3. Ah, now.
4. Gotta make it work for you, I suppose.
5. Well, you know, you could tone it down a little.
6. Word to the wise; don’t ask her again.
7. Yes, yes they do.
8. Yeah, she’s officially done.
9. You know how it is.
10. This person cannot. They just absolutely cannot anymore.
