'Most romantic' proposal goes viral after being filmed by police helicopter

Lovely.

THE CREW OF a Metropolitan Police Service helicopter were airborne on Saturday night, heading for routine duties at Heathrow Airport.

All of a sudden, they came across a scene of romance. First, they tweeted this teaser:

We think we have just seen the most romantic guy in north london. More later ! #willyoumarryme?

Using thermal-imaging cameras, the team had spotted this message spelled out across a park.

The Met appealed to their 95,000 followers on Twitter for the couple to come forward… and there was good news:
