This headline in the Mayo News missed out on a serious pun opportunity
SO, HERE’S THE deal. A driver who was charged with having green diesel in his jeep claimed it was put there by his allegedly stoned nephew, who he claims was ‘out of his mind’ on cannabis.
Green diesel is illegal on public roads unless it’s an agricultural vehicle, FYI.
The nephew’s name? Noel Jinks.
Every pun enthusiast’s dream.
But wait, this was the headline of the Mayo News story on the incident:
Seriously?
Not to worry, they added in High Jinks as a subhead. It was the right thing to do.
