The shops that clearly didn’t cater to a cool kid like you and have since remained nowhere near the list of places you’d pop into for a browse?
Well, either the shops have changed or I have because I’ve been looking at them with fresh eyes in recent years and am ready to make them regulars on my list.
I’m talking places like Marks & Spencer, Dorothy Perkins and Tesco – places that help make up the majority of your mam’s wardrobe so therefore never helped make up mine.
Yes, I’ve judged for far too long and am now living to regret all the potentially amazing items that have passed me by because of that mindset.
