YESTERDAY, YOU PROBABLY heard the news that Holly Willoughby will be taking over Ant McPartlin’s role on I’m a Celebrity this year.
In a statement given to This Morning, Holly said:
I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery. These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit. Honestly, I’m a huge fan of I’m A Celebrity and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show.
What a genuinely humble statement.

Holly’s This Morning co-hosts Eamonn and Ruth were delighted for her, but were surprised to hear the news, considering the fact that Holly’s pretty much terrified of every animal.
In the compilation below, Holly can be seen screaming at a variety of birds, reptiles, bugs and even farm animals.
Declan also released a statement to This Morning, in which he said that Holly had been “top of his list” and he’s thrilled she agreed to accompany him to Australia this year.
I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials!
