SETH ROGEN HAS opened one serious can of worms this Christmas after admitting that he had spent his childhood wrongly assuming that the gangster film featured in Home Alone was an actual movie.
So, if you happen to be the one person in the western world who has yet to see Home Alone, let’s catch you up very quickly. At multiple points throughout the iconic Christmas movie, Kevin, the lead character, is seen watching a black and white film entitled Angels with Filthy Souls.
It’s excessively violent, it’s right up Kevin’s street, and this week it has become one enormous talking point on Twitter.
After Seth told his Twitter followers, who number in excess of 7 million, that he had been woefully misguided on the authenticity of Angels with Filthy Souls, a staggering number of people started coming out of the woodwork and admitting that they too had assumed the gangster film was legit.
Indeed, some people were left absolutely stunned to learn that Angels with Filthy Souls was created purely with Home Alone in mind, and not decades before.
You’ve shook tens of thousands with this information - including me. 😲

I googled it yesterday and found out it was a made up movie for the movie. Shocked me to my very core. #homealone

Well this tweet just taught me it isn’t.

So, what about you? Did you always assume Angels with Filthy Souls was an actual film Kevin was watching?
