A restaurant in Castlebar is making the most of the boil water notice

CASTLEBAR WAS ONE of the areas affected when a boil notice was issued in County Mayo at the weekend.

Fifty thousand people have been hit with the consequence of the notice, as a result of the detection of a parasite in the water system.

House of Plates restaurant on Upper Chapel Street in Castle bar is making the most of the situation, and is reminding customers that they have “plenty of wine in stock”.
