Hozier's album just debuted at no. 2 in the United States
CONTINUING HIS PATH to world domination, Hozier’s debut album has charted at number 2 on the Billboard album chart.
According to Billboard, the album sold 58,000 copies in its first week and debuted in the second spot just behind country star Jason Aldean.
The album sales were no doubt aided by the singer’s well-received appearance on last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
Elsewhere, the album’s lead single Take Me To Church is currently at no. 62 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album continued its reign as number one in the Irish album charts last week, while it charted at no. 5 in the UK album chart.
