BBC claim Hozier is British, Twitter puts them in their place
HOZIER IS FROM Bray. He’s all we’ve got, won’t the BBC just let us have him?
In a tweet previewing the British acts heading to last night’s Grammy awards, BBC Newsbeat claimed Wicklowman Andrew Hozier-byrne was among them.
Groan.
Hozier isn’t actually mentioned in the article linked in the tweet, which lists the likes of Clean Bandit, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith–who beat Hozier to win Record of The Year at yesterday’s ceremony.
