Ah, the flat battery.

WE MAY BE past the peak of gas Pokémon Go happenings taking place every single day, but it turns out the AA here in Ireland had to deal with the phenomneon earlier this week.

A Waterford driver left their car to go hunt Pokémon earlier this week – but also left the radio and the lights on while they were at it.

As Joe.ie discovered on the AA Roadwatch Blog, the AA had to come to the driver’s rescue when their battery went flat:

The goal of becoming the very best, like no-one ever was came at a price for one Waterford driver as they were left with a flat battery after leaving their car radio and lights on while playing Pokémon Go.

And the AA even provided this handy incident summary too

“Was playing Pokémon Go and left radio and lights on.”

Delightfully summed up in one line.

Thankfully, the AA were on hand to get them back on the road. They probably drove away with a rake load of extra Pokémon, but with their pride slightly hurt.
