Look at these Hurricane Sandy charity t-shirts
ARTIST SEBASTIAN ERRAZURIZ has designed these Hurrican Sandy relief t-shirts after his gallery was hit by the storm last week.
He said that the idea came to him after he saw the water line marked on the walls of flooded galleries in the Chelsea area of New York.
The t-shirts are hand made and are supposed to signify both the flooding (in the case of the I Heart NY shirt) and the loss of electricity (in the case of the subway shirt)
(GreyArea)
One hundred per cent of the profits from the t-shirts (which are selling for $40) go to Hurricane Sandy relief programs.
New York and New Jersey have been hit again by winds, rain and snow, hampering efforts to restore power and heat in some areas. Nine inches of snow fell in some parts of New York yesterday.
