AS PART OF the Dare to Care campaign, Today FM are calling on listeners to do a dare this September in order to raise money in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.
The radio station announced that today (the 20th of September) would be Wedding Dress Wednesday.
Leading by example, Ian Dempsey got all dolled up and walked down the aisle at No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place. He actually looked lovely, in fairness.

Ian chose Mario Rosenstock dressed up as Joan Burton as his Maid of Honour.

Plenty of others got involved in the initiative.
Those who didn’t have wedding dresses decided to wear their debs dresses.
A great way to get a bit of wear out a dress that is typically only ever used once, while raising money for an important cause.
If you’d like to donate €4 if your phone credit towards the Irish Cancer Society, you can do so by texting ‘Dare’ to 50300. The money goes towards helping people like James Rowan, who in the video below talks about his long battle with cancer.
