Detroit's ice hockey team gave a girl on Twitter some sage life lessons

THE DETROIT RED WINGS are a top-level NHL hockey team with a huge fanbase. They’ve been going for 88 years and have won 19 division championships and 11 Stanley Cups.
And now, it turns out, they also give dead sound life advice on Twitter.
A fan tweeted them yesterday to say that her goal in life was to marry a Red Wings player:

And the team immediately responded urging her to aim higher.
When other Twitter users rushed to mock the girl, the team ran to her defence.
It’s not the first time the Red Wings have stepped in with some moral teachings. Just last month, a fan tweeted the team asking them “to say you love me still”.
