WHAT WOULD THE world like if men had periods?
Water Aid has created a genius ad that imagines what would happen if men had periods.
One word: manpons.
Need we say anymore?
Meanwhile, this spoof imagines what football matches would look like.
Hint: the commentary would feature a lot of chat about synced cycles.
The purpose of the campaign is to remove the stigma from periods and to draw attention to the fact that 1.2 billion women all over the world do not have access to a toilet during their periods.
As part of the campaign, Water Aid conducted research and found that 71% of women believed that the media’s representation of periods would change if men also got them.
Meanwhile, 29% of women believed that there would inevitably be a tampon that would be described as “boosting your performance” and 39% reckoned that tampon ads would be fronted by male celebrities.
