Can you spot all The Shining references in this brilliant Halloween IKEA ad?
WITH ITS MAZE-like showroom floor, IKEA is no doubt a frightening place for many.
That’s probably why this ad from IKEA Singapore, inspired by horror film The Shining, works so well.
There are absolutely TONS of references to the Stanley Kubrick classic, but here are a few we caught.
‘Redrug’ spray painted on the wall
Over a red rug, obv.
The numbers ’237′ spelled out in cushions
An outright reference to that creepy room in the Overlook Hotel.
The orange rugs
The pattern of which recalls the famous carpet from the film.
