IMPORTANT REMINDER: We're all getting less sleep tonight

Get to bed early because the clocks will go forward one hour at 1am.

THE CLOCKS GO FORWARD one hour at 1am tomorrow morning as the country switches over to summer time.

That is summer time, not summer weather unfortunately.

Don’t forget to change your clocks/watches/phones before heading to bed – although beware your smartphone might already be set to go forward all by itself.

As Justice Minister Alan Shatter is the Cabinet member with responsibility for time (nice title!), he sent a reminder to newsdesks earlier, giving us an insight into his television preferences.

For those interested it should be noted that a new series of Doctor Who commences on BBC 1 tonight Saturday 30 March at 6:15 pm.
