In pictures: An aerial tour of Cairo's pyramids

Incredible images taken over Giza’s pyramids and the Sphinx by Russian photography group.

A GROUP OF ENTERPRISING Russian photographers is busy building an incredible collection of high-resolution aerial images of famous sites and cities around the world.

The AirPano team is currently involved in a photography project at the Taj Mahal in India and plans to head to Barcelona, London and Istanbul in the coming weeks.

The AirPano.com website offers users interactive high-res panoramic photographs of sites from Cape Town to Cairo. Check out some of the incredible shots they captured over the pyramids and the Sphinx while visiting the Egyptian capital in the following gallery:
