Five acts square off on tonight’s Late Late Show for the chance to represent Ireland…

THIS YEAR’S Eurosong contest takes place on the Late Late Show this evening as five acts battle it out live on air to become Ireland’s next Eurovision entry.

Just like last year, the winner will be selected by a combination of viewer votes and votes from the jury panel. The winner will be announced at the end of tonight’s show, and the successful entry will head to Azerbaijan to represent Ireland at the first Eurovision 2012 semi-final on 22 May.
