AS IT’S NEARING the start of the longest of our long weekends, we decided we’d be forgiven for posting a gratuitous cute-animal slideshow.

Libby the lion cub, pictured here, ventured out of her enclosure at Blair Drummond Safari Park in the UK for the first time today.

Just six-months old, she explored the park with her mum Teekay, dad Dudley and the rest of the pride. She was the first lion cub born at the park in more than 10 years.
