In pictures: the 136th Annual Westminster dog show

The canine competition is being held over two days at Madison Square Gardens.

THE PRESTIGIOUS Westminster Kennel Club dog show kicked off in New York’s Madison Square Gardens yesterday and the judging continued across several categories today.

This year was the annual event’s 136th year, and organisers said that six new breeds would make their Westminster debut this week.
