No, the Irish Independent didn't photoshop this picture of a protester throwing a brick
THE IRISH INDEPENDENT last night published this photo online of a protester throwing a brick in the direction of a Garda car during yesterday’s water protests in Jobstown.

Claims of “photoshop” soon sprang up, particularly as it seems that the man’s foot is missing in the image.

However, the image is definitely not photoshopped. The Irish Independent subsequently published a series of photos which clearly show the man running and throwing a brick.
Meanwhile a video recorded by a Sunday World journalist shows the same man caught in the act. He’s clearly visible towards the end of the clip.
Gardaí say two people were arrested yesterday after the events in Jobstown yesterday, one for a public order offence and another for damage to a patrol car.
The photo editing claims have led some to have a little fun, with photoshop this time…
Whoops!
