THIS IS WHAT happens when you inflate a chionarctia nivea moth.

Warning: don’t watch this with food in your mouth, because you may spit it out.

OK, here’s the science. The bits you see expanding are androconial organs, which are inflated to attract females (I KNOW RIGHT?) and also transmit pheromones.
