Interior design nerds will absolutely love this new RTÉ Player miniseries
THE RTE PLAYER has been throwing up some exclusive gems in the past few months.
In their latest offering, they’ve fused Room To Improve and Changing Rooms into ten minute snippets of pure interior joy.
Caroline and Jo Linehan of GAFF interiors travel to various homes to decorate them, and it’s strangely soothing.
Even better, is the name. The Good Room, aka the room your mam wouldn’t let you into when you where little. It’s for the visitors, shush.
In the first episode, they redecorate a Thin Lizzy themed room, and that was enough to pull us in.
They venture from Dublin, to Sligo, to Cork, to Wicklow and even the exotic Meath.
It’s packed with practical tips for the idiots among us
They even do reveals reminiscent of Changing Rooms
Memories!
Here’s what the Thin Lizzy room ended up like, FYI.
They’ve done everything from dining rooms, to young boys’ bedrooms, to cosy sitting rooms.
Pure escapism.
You can check out the rest of the episodes here. It might just tide you over until Room to Improve returns.
