People are confused though, God love them. And maybe they have a point:
Of course there’s more to it than that. Apple Insider tells us that the iPad Mini will “lower the barrier to entry for the iPad lineup”, undercutting the price of the iPad 2 and making the product more accessible.
Apple Insider also speculates that the device will be easier to operate with one hand.

iPad Mini: What's the point?

Techradar meanwhile suggests that this new, smaller iPad could mean that the iPad 2 will be phased out. It’s also rumoured that the Mini will cost €249. Buying an iPad in Ireland will currently set you back at least €400, with the latest models starting at €479.
