A young Cavan singer was on BBC's Glastonbury coverage and blew everyone away

Remember the name: Áine Cahill.

THE GLASTONBURY COVERAGE on BBC last night might have been dominated by a certain Coldplay set that closed the festival.

But earlier in the evening, the BBC studio on site welcomed a young Irish singer by the name of Áine Cahill, accompanied by Louise Johnston on keyboard:

And they both knocked it out of the park

Singing her own song Black Dahlia to a massive TV audience, Áine certainly made an impression

Now she’s being discovered by so many new people

Fellow Cavan musicians were out supporting the pair of them

Nailing it live on the BBC: That’s one way to make a good first impression

Well played
