A couple of Irish bartenders made their own unofficial Guinness ad and it's trending on YouTube

The secret of life.

NEVER MIND PADDY’S Day, yesterday was the international day of Guinness consumption around the world.

To mark it, two Irish ad students based in the US released their own tribute to the black stuff.

And it also helps that they’re both bartenders

Lovely.

Once the video was uploaded yesterday, it immediately started to gain traction and is trending number 6 in Ireland this morning.

It was made by Tadhg Ennis and Brendan Irving – students in Miami Ad School. They write:

While both working as bartenders to pay for their tuitions, they came up with the idea to make a branded content piece that talks about the correlation between the bartender and a pint of Guinness.
Just like Guinness, the bartender is more than meets the eye. They are a group of philosophers, comedians, artists, and rogues. A distinct group that is complex on many levels. We take time growing into our skin, but once we do we are full of character and unapologetically authentic.

“So no, I can’t tell you the secret of life, but I’ve certainly seen the wonders of it. And I’ll drink to that.”
