13 Irish celebs who definitely aren't behind Bloggers Unveiled

We can probably rule out Leo Varadkar.

IF YOU MISSED it over the weekend there was a fair bit of drama around the Bloggers Unveiled Instagram. The account was deactivated for a little while before coming back with whoever running it saying they ‘weren’t here to make friends’.

A number of fake accounts have also sprung up making the whole thing very confusing indeed. Instead of trying to guess who it is, we’re here to tell you who it definitely isn’t. Here are 13 of the unlikeliest suspects.

1. Francis Brennan

While I feel we would all pay a lot of money for Francis to have an Instagram account where he anonymously reviews hotels and bitches about them, sadly it’s unlikely. His own Instagram is very wholesome though so we do have that.

2. Arlene Foster

Similar to Francis Brennan I would pay a lot of money for Arlene to have an account of some sort where she bitches about Sinn Féin. That being said, she kind of does this in the media anyway meaning an account is redundant. Pity.

3. Dermot Bannon

We know that Dermot gets frustrated sometimes but he’s probably not behind the Bloggers Unveiled stuff. Now whether or not he runs an account where he rips it out of people’s poor architectural designs is unclear. He definitely doesn’t but we can dream can’t we?

4. Mary McAleese

Wouldn’t we all love to know what Mary McAleese thought of the Irish blogging scene? I mean yes but I think we’d all like to know what she thought of Bertie Ahern way more. Was he a dope? WE NEED ANSWERS.

5. Roy Keane

Nobody in their right mind would cross Roy Keane as they no doubt would hear endlessly about it. He’s also not afraid to put his name to what he says so it’s definitely not him anyway.

Niall Carson Niall Carson

6. Samantha Mumba

Samantha is off living her best life in LA with her utterly gorgeous daughter. She doesn’t have time to be uncovering who is doing what on the Irish blogger scene. We do wish she’d release some more songs though.

7. Richard Bruton

As Minister for Education he shouldn’t be running ANY anonymous Instagram accounts as he’s supposed to be fixing the Leaving Cert and making third level education affordable. That being said, he does love the odd Insta post.

8. Anne Doyle

Considering Anne Doyle is flawless and a much better person than of us we have to rule her out as a suspect entirely. Nobody ever questions the Doyle and for very good reason too. She’s perfect.

MARK.MAXWELL MARK.MAXWELL

9. Bono

While we can all categorically agree that Bono is a pox, he’s too successful and busy to be running an anonymous Instagram account. It’s a shame really because I’d love to know what he really thinks of George W. Bush, the Edge and Ryan Tubridy.

10. B*Witched

Yep. Just imagine an entire band behind one Instagram account. With 4 of them they could take it in 6 hour shifts each or something like that. Maybe I’m over thinking this slightly.

11. Leo Varadkar

We all know that the government has loads of WhatsApp groups so an anonymous Instagram account is the natural next step surely? While he might not be behind Bloggers Unveiled I would pay a lot of money for ‘Leinster House Unveiled’.

12. Saoirse Ronan

Saorise Ronan could run an entire account having a go at anyone who has ever given out about her accent and I would support her the entire way. Sadly we can categorically state that she’s got nothing to do with Bloggers Unveiled.

Chris Pizzello Chris Pizzello

13. Willie O’Dea

Look I’m just saying a Willie O’Dea run account exposing what goes on in Limerick is something that would make my entire year. No scratch that, it would make my entire life.
