An Irish lad proposed to his girlfriend at The National with a tinfoil ring, and it was adorable
LAST NIGHT, THE National performed a headline set at Longitude.
And by all accounts, it was a pretty special gig.
But it was an especially memorable night for one couple in particular.
During The Nationalās performance of I Need My Girl, a man in the crowd got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, much to her delight as well as that of everyone around them.
Whoops!

Hereās the lovely proposal in all its glory as captured by David Bell:
Best part of the whole thing? The makeshift tinfoil ring.
