FOOTAGE HAS SURFACED of what appears to be a young Conor McGregor Irish dancing at his communion.

Reddit user SkyFrogs posted a short clip of a young Conor with some footwork that’s a whole lot fancier than that he uses in the octagon. His communion took place in 1996, which would make Conor about seven.

Did everyone dance at their communion?

We reached out to SkyFrogs and they told DailyEdge.ie that it’s an old communion video from the 2nd class in Scoil Mologa in Harold’s Cross.

As far I know, they only let the very best Irish dancers perform at big events like that, so I imagine he was also performing in Irish dancing competitions as well.

It also makes sense, considering Conor has previously spoken about owing some of his skills to his early days Irish dancing. Well, actions speak louder than words.
