This Dublin kid's valiant first attempt on the roller skates he got off Santy is going viral

EVERYONE REMEMBERS the first time they tried on roller skates. If it wasn’t an unmitigated disaster, you’re a very lucky person.

Little Joey from Dublin got a pair of skates from Santa this year, and his dad Ciaran helped him with his first go around the house.

Predictably, it did not go well:

“I could hardly hold him I was laughing so much,” wrote Ciaran. Well he did a great job, considering the circumstances.

Ciaran posted the video in the very early hours of Christmas morning (that dad life) – and since then, it’s been watched over 85,000 times on Twitter.

He has promised an update when Joey gets the hang of his skates. We can’t wait.
