A bunch of TDs were menaced by Stormtroopers at the Irish Star Wars premiere last night
STAR WARS: THE Last Jedi is officially in cinemas as of last night, with midnight screenings happening around the country.
The Irish premiere was also held yesterday in Dublin’s Savoy cinema, with one very famous face in attendance:

A number of our politicians were also there (owing to the film’s connections with Irish tourism) – and it appears that they had the time of their actual LIVES.
Minister for Transport and Tourism Shane Ross brought his grandson and shook hands with a Stormtrooper

The other lad is standing uncomfortably close. Maybe the traffic caused by the new Luas lines made him late for work that morning and Kylo Ren got mad?
By the looks of the next picture, they cleared things up at least:

He’s behind you, Kevin! You’re well able for him, don’t worry.
Maybe we need to get some of these guys into the Dáil to keep everyone in line? Just a thought.
