IRISH...THE MUSICAL: The best named show on Earth?
PEOPLE OF WEXFORD, brace yourselves, because something special is coming your way.
That’s right, IRISH…THE MUSICAL (all caps for some reason) is coming to the Wexford Opera House on July 20th.
But what is this magnificently named show? It’s a musical/concert hybrid which is set to tour America.
The show tells the tale of street smart Michael O’Riordan, a charismatic musician who leaves Ireland to make it big in New York with three of his musician mates.
Will they succeed? Will they live the American dream? WHO KNOWS?
The show is 90 minutes long and features an Irish cast, and you can go and see it because before they go they’re filming it for American TV. (FANCY.)
Wexford Opera House is the venue and you can go and see the show for free while they film it. Details here.
Some have called it ‘The Commitments meets a Chorus Line or Jersey Boy’s Irish’ you know.
