The Government has agreed to establish full diplomatic relations between Dublin and Ramallah.
Taoiseach Simon Harris said that the decision "is about keeping hope alive".

The Dáil was temporarily suspended this afternoon after a group of protesters in the public gallery interrupted statements to call for sanctions to be imposed on Israel.
